What Are Relics Used For My Singing Monster

Relics are one of the eight currencies available in My Singing Monster. You can tell them by their amber texture with the eighth note in its center. Relics have various uses that are not limited to buying valuable Monsters like Werdos and Fire Monsters; they are also used in Amber Island to clear obstacles, buy vessels, and upgrade the castle.

How To Get Relics

One of the hardest parts of My Singing Monsters is collecting Relics. If you are not aware of the methods used to Farm relics, you’ll likely struggle to collect them and miss out on their uses, like the mentioned Monsters that can rack up nice piles of Gold Coins. As such, to efficiently maximize your daily Relics output in My Singing, follow these methods:

Daily Spin Wheel

The daily Spin Wheel is the easiest way to get Relics in the game. Simply spin the wheel to see what happens. There are chances of the Spin Wheel’s arrow landing on 3 Relics and a Treasure Chest that holds up to 30 Relics. Once the wheel is spun, you can either wait for the 24-hour reset to play it for free once again or keep spending 2 Diamonds to play the daily game.

Daily Memory Game

The Memory Game is a daily minigame where you have to match hidden cards, and it is another fantastic way of getting Relics. You can initiate the minigame by pressing on your Island’s Castle. However, you’ll need to gamble in order to hit the jackpot, as the memory game can give up to 25 relics.

Having said that, the longer you last in the Memory Game by guessing the correct matches, the sweeter your rewards. Once the game ends, you have to pick from a bunch of hidden cards to reveal your prize. So, try your luck at it; who knows, there might be 25 Relics hidden behind the card you pick. Once again, you can replay the Memory Game at the cost of 2 Diamonds.

Daily Login Bonus

The daily login bonus is a game-mechanic engraved into probably every multiplayer game. That said, My Singing Monster has its own daily login bonus, which lasts for 10 days, and with each passing day, the reward gets better. If you’re hooked to the game, then you’re in luck, as logging every single day for up to 10 days has great rewards, including 14 Relics.

Complete Goals

Ironically, some Monster Goals will reward the player with pathetically 2 to 4 Relics by placing Werdos (100 Relics) and Fire Monsters (10-200 Relics) on specific Islands, which can only be obtained through Relics. While we don’t recommend doing this if you’re farming Relics, there’s still the “Get One Monster To Level 20” Goal, and that gives 10 Relics.

There are also Breeding Goals, which we recommend doing instead of wasting Relics on buying Werdos and Fire Monsters for the Monster Goals. While Werdos can’t be bred, you can try your luck breeding Fire Monsters. Once you obtain the Fire Monster’s egg, wait for it to hatch, and you’ll complete a Breeding Goal, rewarding you with 1 to 4 Relics.

Bonus Items From Monsters

Monsters may drop special currencies such as relics. However, it’s not just any Monster, as only Monsters above level 15 can give special currencies. When your monster reaches that threshold, it will generate gold coins and the chance to obtain three relics.

In addition, the higher the Monster’s level, the greater your chances of getting 3 Relics. Here is a table that shows the odds of getting 3 Relics from a Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode:

Level3 Relics
Level 16 Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode0.40%
Level 17 Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode0.80%
Level 18 Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode0.81%
Level 19 Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode1.12%
Level 20 Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode1.53%

We’ve also observed that Quad Monsters have even better odds of obtaining 3 Relics when compared to Monsters with lesser Elements.

Farming Amber Island

Until recently, there was no island where you could farm relics like Gold Coins or shards from other islands. With the new Amber Island, however, Fire Monsters placed there can now farm Relics, though only 2–4 per month. Well, talk about monsterrible farming!

In addition to their slow farming rate, placing Monsters on Amber Island is one of the toughest things in the game. This Island has its own Market, where Fire Monsters are only available for a limited time and cost 10–30 relics. That said, take your time filling up your Amber Island to fully reap its benefits.

Diamond Exchange

Finally, you have the Diamond exchange strategy. You exchange Diamonds for relics by opening the in-game shop. However, there’s a small catch to it: while the first Relic will cost you 1 Diamond, the second Relic will cost 3 Diamonds. Every next Relic you buy will have an increment in its Diamond cost, with a 50 Diamond cap on the 9th Relic you buy.

This also has a reset, as the Relic price reduces to 1 Diamond every day at exactly 12:00 p.m. UTC. However, there’s one strategy that we’d like to impart when exchanging Diamonds for relics: that is 9 diamonds spent on 3 relics and the remainder on spin wheels. This strategy is perhaps one of the fastest ways to increase your Relics in My Singing Monster.

Final Thoughts

And there we have it! A detailed guide outlining every possible method for obtaining the much-needed relics. While you’re collecting Relics in the game, just make sure to spend them wisely, and also look out for sales where Werdos can be up for grabs for half their original Relics.
