Poor service & quality. This location closes whenever they want, constantly changing hours. I had to wait 15 minutes just to be told they were closing in 15minutes. The guy didn't even have anyone in his chair.

My mom used to take me to Great Clips when I was a kid and never had a bad experience then, so when I went in to get my haircut yesterday I thought I was making the right choice. WRONG. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted (side swept bangs, a little shorter all around) and girl didn't even get CLOSE. She gave me the most messed up straight across bangs, didn't even try to get close to the photo I showed her. She was wildly chopping my hair. It is seriously so uneven, and not in a cute layered way. It is so messed up. She was cutting my hair like she was just trying to get it over with as quickly as possible. I honestly would've been better off giving my one year old son a pair of scissors.

Clearly, you get what you pay for at this chop shop.
My hair grows VERY slowly and I had been growing out a short pixie cut for the last 6 months. I instructed the stylist to clean up the back and slightly trim the front since I'm TRYING to grow it out. The lady chopped inches off!!!! I'm at square one again . I even showed her a picture of myself with longer hair as an example of what I was striving for. I'm so so so embarrassed and upset!
A 5 year old listens better than she did.

Ended up at the 863 E 4500 S Great Clips after my stylist from another salon became I'll, ended up having Debb cut my hair. This was the first time ever meeting Debb and she did an excellent job, would definitely use her again and will probably make her my new stylist, ver pleasant very nice and most of all very good at her job.

Rude, unsanitary, not worth it
Bad vibes, countless rude comments about my young child's hair (said TO my child), lots of inappropriate questioning which was their form of small talk but made me very uncomfortable. The worst part is that it was gross. No one was wearing masks, not one person besides me and my son. Even the lady who cut his hair. I wanted to ask her to put one on but she was already being so rude and I wasn't up for a confrontation. We have a high risk household and they are putting lives in jeopardy by acting like the pandemic doesn't exist any more. Right before we left, one of the other stylists touched her lips and her tongue then touched lots of things at her station without even sanitizing her hands, then again DID NOT WASH HER HANDS and started a session with a client, with her spit still on her hands. I hope there's health codes against that. On top of being rude and unsanitary, the haircut was alright but the design was the worst we've ever had. You couldn't tell what it's supposed to be and the person who did it kept saying "It looks just like him!" I don't know what that means. It looked like a mangled blob, which is not what my son looks like. I was really hoping this location would work out for us but we won't be back. And I'm going to be really mad if we get sick from that visit. Our lives and health are worth far more than this place seems to think they are.
Edit to add, they also will ask for your last name, phone number, and address out loud in full hearing of everyone in the salon. And put your first name and last initial on the screen. So all the strangers in the building will have all that information. How do they not understand how unsafe that is.
