Before reviewing the below charts, I'd recommend toggling the Legend on the lower left to get familiar with what the different requirements mean. The ? on the lower right will show an FAQ that answers many common questions about raising Digimon. You can click on any Digimon image below to see more details about that Digimon as well. Use the version selector above to display only charts that are available on your device, and use the abbreviations to jump to a specific chart.

If you aren't sure about something, take a minute and read throught the questions below, you may find your answer there. If not, try asking in the #help_and_questions channel at the Digitama Hatchery Discord Server.
- How do I get Vital Values?
- How long will it take my Digimon to evolve?
- What carries over after evolution?
- A requirement doesn't mention a specific stat, how do I know how much of that stat I need?
- What does it mean if the evolution requirements on this guide show multiple bullet points?
- If I meet the conditions for multiple evolution options, which one will I get?
- The app shows I have enough battles or trophies, so why didn't my Digimon evolve?
- If I already cleared Area 15 with a different Digimon on a specific Dim, do I have to clear it again with the one I am currently raising?
- Why can't my Digimon Jogress?
- What is a Special Jogress?
- What will cause my Digimon to die?
- Getting injured 4 times in one day
- Not wearing your Vital Bracelet for 24 hours (time spent sleeping or in backup does not count towards the 24 hours)
- Doing extended strenuous exercise while injured
Your steps and your heart rate both contribute to your Vital Values. In addition, winning battles will increase them, while losing battles will decrease them.
Unless you kill it first, your Digimon is guaranteed to evolve into Stage IV. If a Stage IV or V Digimon has fulfilled its specific requirements for reaching Stage V or VI respecitvely, it is guaranteed to reach that stage. The time your Digimon spends sleeping will not count towards its evolution timer, nor will time it spends in backup. Turning the Vital Bracelet off will also pause all functions, including the evolution time. If evolving via Jogress, you do not need to have the appropriate backup Digimon for the entire 24 hours, it only needs to be in backup at the time of evolution. When evolving via Jogress, only the active Digimon evolves. The Digimon in backup remains in backup exactly as it was, and does not influence the stats of the evolved Digimon. Jogress evolution takes the same amount of time as a normal evolution for that stage.
Current Stage Time to Next Stage I 1 Hour II 3 Hours III 16 Hours IV 24 Hours V 24 Hours VI 3 Hours
All stats are reset, except when evolving from Stage I to Stage II or from Stage II to Stage III.
The evolution requirements will only show stats are are actually required, hence them being called that. Not all stats are required for evolving, and if a specific stat isn't listed, this means it does not matter at all. For example, Sangomon does not list what Win Ratio is needed to evolve into Tobiumon. This is because it does not matter, Sangomon will evolve into Tobiumon simply by having 10 or more Trophies, 1,300 or more Vital Values and 8 or more Battles, no matter what its current win ratio is.
When you click on a Digimon in the guide, sometimes you will see bullet points listing multiple requirements. In these cases, you only need to choose one of the bullet points, as these are all independent requirements. For example, Pulsemon has two bullet points for evolving into Namakemon. One reads "0-2 Trophies" while the other reads "0-499 Vital Values". You will meet the requirement by fulfilling either of those conditions upon reaching the evolution window, you don't necessarily need to fulfill both.
For the most part, you will receive the evolution with the highest requirement for Vital Values, assuming you met the other requirements. If two evolutions have the same requirement for Vital Values, then you will receive the one with the highest requirement for Win Ratio. Technically speaking this is not a hard rule, as the true determining factor of which evolution will occur is the order in which the evolutions are listed in the code of the Dim card, but so far there have not been any Dim cards that have broken the pattern as described.
Never use the app to determine evolution requirements, it counts all battles and trophies across your Digimon's lifespan. Evolution requirements only count if they are done for the Digimon's current evolutionary stage, so check how many you have on the Vital Bracelet itself instead.
Generally speaking, no. Your device stores the Area 15 Clear status after the first time you clear Area 15 for that Dim Card. This means that any Digimon you raise after clearing Area 15 for that Dim card will be able to evolve to evolutions that require that area to be cleared. However, this will not preserve after a factory reset. If you choose to start a brand new Digimon by inserting a Dim card, that new Digimon will have access to the locked evolution, but won't have access to the cleared areas themsleves. To ensure that you can always regain access to all areas and the Area 15 Clear status, you can simply backup any Digimon that has cleared all Adventure Missions to the Vital Bracelet Arena app. From then on, any Digimon from that same Dim that you send to the app will take the clear status with it back to the device. Inversely, be cautious about returning Digimon raised from that Dim before Area 15 was cleared. The device will determine whether or not Stage 15 was cleared based on the most recent Digimon sent from the app, so to be safe you should raise just one Digimon from that Dim until you have cleared area 15 if you plan to use the app. This is not an issue on the Vital Bracelet BE. Remember that clearing Adventure Missions only count for that Dim card, they will need to be cleared again for other Dim cards.
If your Stage IV or V Digimon has the same attribute as the one in backup, or if they are different evolutionary stages, Jogress will not occur.
There are cases where a specific Digimon can Jogress with another specific Digimon on a specific Dim card. Once the appropriate Digimon has been placed in backup on the device. The time it takes for the Jogress to occur depends on the normal evolution time for that Stage, as shown in the above table. The following Special Jogress combinations exist.War Greymon (Agu) with Metal Garurumon (Gabu)
Metal Garurumon (Gabu) with War Greymon (Agu)
Black War Greymon (BRo) with Metal Garurumon (Black) (SHo)
Metal Garurumon (Black) (SHo) with Black War Greymon (BRo)
Black War Greymon (MBR) with Metal Garurumon (Black) (TSH)
Metal Garurumon (Black) (TSH) with Black War Greymon (MBR)
Grey Wars (Med) with Garuru Metal (Med)
Bryweludramon (Espi) with Durandamon (Ryuda)
Durandamon (Ryuda) with Bryweludramon (Espi)Note that the Dim of the Digimon, shown in parentheses for each Digimon above, does matter. For example, you cannot Jogress a Black War Greymon from the Black Roar Dim with a Metal Garurumon (Black) from the True Shadow Howl Dim.
Toggle Legend
TrophiesHow many Trophies are required to evolve. Trophies are earned by completing missions. If you are using the Vital Bracelet BE, Trophies have been renamed to PP, and can be gained by doing Squat Trainings.
Vital ValuesHow many Vital Values are required to evolve. Vital Values are earned based on your steps and heart rate. They increase when you win battles, but will decrease if you lose.
BattlesHow many Battles are required to evolve. Battles can be triggered by touching the Vital Bracelet to any powered NFC source, such as a smart phone or vending machine. Battles can also be done against another Vital Bracelet using the VS DiM.
Win RatioThe minimum required percentage of battle wins to evolve.
N/ANot Applicable. If any Digimon shows this as a requirement on the chart, it means there is no minimum requirement for that particular condition. If a Digimon shows N/A for all four conditions, this means that you will get that Digimon if you do no not meet the minimum requirements for any other evolution option.
Jogress withIndicates which Digimon must be in backup in order to evolve. For Stage IV and V Digimon, the Digimon in backup must be a different attribute from the one being raised, and the Jogress will occur at the normal evolution time. Only specific Stage VI Digimon can Jogress, and this will occur 3 hours after the two required Digimon are on the device. You can check a Digimon's attribute on the status screen. In addition, types are displayed on this page as Red/Orange/Yellow/Pink for Vaccine, Greens for Data, Violets/Brown for Virus and Blues/Gray for Free. Please note that attribute based Jogress evolutions used on the original Dim cards will not work on the Vital Bracelet BE. |
